So glad you’re here. I'm Karen, and am incredibly passionate about helping people discover light and laughter amid adversity. Have you ever asked yourself "Why me? How much can one person handle?" Experiencing more than my fair share of hardship, loss, and, well, plain old suffering, I’ve often felt powerless and alone, only to realize that I’m in good company. Bad things happen to good people. They happen to you and me. It's what we do with them that makes us who we become…that defines how we Shine Forward!
Throughout my journey, I’ve developed amazing resilience superpowers that have equipped me to transform setbacks into success. While I don’t run around in spandex and a cape (a good thing for all, I promise), these same superpowers have transformed my biggest hardships into my greatest gifts—one of the best is being here with you!
